Pedro Delguy is a filmmaker, cinematographer, and photographer whose work thrives at the crossroads of humor, sensitivity, rhythm, and aesthetics. Armed with a Film & Design degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires and advanced studies in Digital Filmmaking at The New School in New York, he has honed his craft under the guidance of industry legends like Linda Seger (screenwriting), Rodolfo Graziano (acting), Augusto Fernandes (directing actors), and Alexander Barynin (montage).
Pedro stepped into the production world at just 19, climbing the ranks while refining his artistic vision. As a director and cinematographer, he has filmed across the USA, Latin America, Asia, and Europe, delivering stunning visuals and compelling narratives. His directorial work has earned accolades at top festivals like CLIO, New York, and London. Since 2016, he has expanded his cinematography portfolio, shooting for other directors as well.
In 2018 he shot Summer of Hope, a documentary who was part of the Work in Progress selection at San Sebastián Film Festival. In 2019, DPed Sangre Yoruba, a documentary on Samba music history, hosted by Gloria Estefan for SONY and HBO. Since then, he’s lensed everything from Sangre Yoruba (a SONY/HBO doc hosted by Gloria Estefan) to Capitanes de América (HBO), Rojo Pasión (Argentine feature), and Miccosukee (a Miami Herald doc).
A visual chameleon, Pedro has shot over 50 videos for global icons like Thalia, Nicky Jam, Pabllo Vittar, Duki, Gloria Estefan, and Emilia Mernes, Los Piojos, Diego Torres, David Lebón, Fito Paez, Fonseca along with 40+ commercials for powerhouse brands including Delta, Netflix, Adidas, Bud Light, Toyota, and Meta.
Photography, however, remains his first love. A globe-trotting storyteller with a camera, he’s photographed life in 27 countries across three continents, always searching for the story inside the stillness. His work was featured in The Bold Beauty Project, with his portrait of Kat Magnoli showcased at Art Basel, Art Boca Raton, Art Palm Beach, and Scope Miami & New York.
In 2017, Pedro launched We Are Tigers (www.wearetigers.tv), a creative production house with soul. Two years later, he founded Rebel Camera (www.rebelcamera.us), a specialized camera and lenses boutique, dedicated to pushing boundaries and reimagining visual storytelling on every level.
